@[D4V1D:48933] In fact, mine wasn't a good interpretation. The song is more like about a fallen soldier who sends his love to his beloved before dying. I see the first part of the song like a moment of confusion in the battle. The soldier doesn't know what's happening, but finally realizes that he is going to die and he faces it bravely: "I'm not afraid anymore / I am ready to fall" In the second part it seems like he is sending his thoughts to her beloved just before dying (is she alive? Is he talking to her from Beyond? It is not pretty clear) Finally he dies: "I feel it burning with me ahead The earth is turning to red" (the blood) "I'm staring at the flaming skies Too tired to figth, I just close my eyes" (he's in his last moments) In the third part it seems like someone is guiding him to Elysium. |

I am a huge Stratovarius fan and I LOVE this song. From my point of view it is about facing life and enjoying it even thought it's not always a bed of roses. Furthermore, it's about facing the tough times and not letting them drag us down. P.S.: Life is seen as a game where we don't always win: "sometimes I may win, sometimes I'll lose / It's just a game that I play". |

I think the song is about two friends that are on different sides in a war and one of them kills the other. He would probably be an spy ("I never thought I'd be betrayed / by my best friend / He lost his life as he went for mine"). 🤔? |
