@[TheThornBirds:43312] LOL!!!! What are you talking about?? He was NOT a coroner - not in the real sense. It was an honorary title a politician friend (name escapes me) gave him mainly as a joke but also because Warren's songwriting was always on the dark comedy side of things. He was always in the music industry - even when given the title. This song is just another example of his genius. It is pretty straight forward. Very tough time with relationships and hurt a lot of women along the way. But, only Warren could write about his problems and tortures in a somewhat dark humorous manner. |

@[kinghorse:43311] neither "My Ride's Here" nor my "Shit's Fucked Up" were written after Zevon found out he was dying. Zevon himself said so although he did feel there was some sort of connection artist have for these sorts of "premonitions" if you will - although he did not know or understand what they could be. |
