"When love, love was a white dove" could be about the innocence of falling in love with someone, or making amends to someone you love when in difficult times. The choruses are pretty positive in message, but the verses seem to portray difficulties. |

I guess it is about the goverment (and capitalism) taking advantage of the most vulnerable people, thus creating misery. Or just general human suffering. Anyway, a most beautiful song and album. |

This song might be satire/critique against too many prescription medicines, but it could also be intrerpreted from the point of view of someone who really needs their medicine to be fine in their daily life and being frustrated by the medicine driving their life. Being on antidepressants, the line "All I know, the world looks so damn beautiful" especially hits home.
Regardless, a great song. |
