This is a truly great song. I see people every day that speak and breathe these words out of their mouth But don’t act upon it. It’s a farce to show the world that they are a great person but that’s as far as it goes. I almost got caught up with an older man I didn’t know who he was. He caused great pain and suffering on his family. He speaks and breathes out of his mouth that he cares but his actions are much much different. His actions continue to inflict more pain and suffering by doing nothing, nothing at all to rectify his suffrage on his own family. In fact it is all about him. And when I saw that, I saw his true self and I had to talk with my parents and I got out of that relationship, it wasn’t good. How can a man be so concerned with himself that he allows his family of many many years to go on suffering and they did nothing to deserve it nothing at all including his ex-wife. Lorenzo108. I think you hit the nail on the head. Well spoken. I know a guy like this I had dated someone much older. It’s very painful for me to read these lyrics because I see a lot of him. He has done some pretty bad things to his wife who only loved him more than life her entire life and she went a little crazy when he did something terrible to her, like Felicia and it wasn’t even that bad what she did in my mind after my parents found out what happened it wasn’t really that bad but he made it that bad and made it sound that bad. But I think he’s extremely depressed inside but he hides it well fact he does an extremely good job of hiding it no one would ever know. His pride is eating him alive he will never admit what he did was wrong and his family is a mess and it’s a very very sad and terrible situation and he won’t seem to go back home and his family and that turns me off terribly more importantly I know he still loves his wife and he will deny it till his blue in the face but I can feel it and see it in his eyes and he is absolutely miserable. He’s getting used to being without her he’s with others namely me until recently, but I’m not in love with him but I thought I was but I’m not. He’s running from the situation and what he’s done because he’s a constant philander. This so much reminds me of him because I don’t think he can be alone not for a minute. He came pretty much obsessed with me I’m half his age. It became kind of weird. I pray and hope that he goes and resolve the situation with his family because that is where he belongs I can feel it and I know it. They were together for pretty much the entire lives and they are both miserable from what I understand I know he is and it’s not because of me I was a scapegoat. I’m young and attractive anything said he loves me and that is not the case he is obsessed with me that is not love what he had with his wife that is love because he’s getting used to not being with her he thinks he doesn’t love her but that is not the case he’s twice my age but he has a lot more to learn in that regard. He’s a sad sad man with a lot of depression that he is not willing to admit. |

Well in my book, guys like this didn’t miss anything they were just too selfish to see what they had and what was in front of them that’s all. But it’s a big one. They put too much stock in beauty and material things and having fun instead of what is in the heart and who loves them and who stood by them and years invested with someone and it is very very sad. Sometimes they die never ever realizing A thing about true love but they sure do create an awful lot of pain and sadness that they inflict on spouses and children. They keep looking for something that’s not there for a person that’s not there because they just don’t get the concept of what love is that is why they never find it. Some people have the misconception that the beginnings of every relationship, how it is so exciting, has that it must stay like that or the love is gone but that is not the truth. That is just the nervousness of not knowing the person yet And the excitement of not knowing someone new but people just don’t get that they’re just not taught that they haven’t learned it by watching their parents because their parents have a terrible relationship or cheat or they don’t have two parents etc. etc. my parents have always taught us the best and so I am going to be the best and be with the best person like my parents’ example so my kids don’t do this to their kids and So on. Most likely children End up like their parents and I don’t wanna give that to my children. Cheating on your spouse get to nowhere you end up with no spouse no family and eventually you end up with no one. It’s sad all the way around it doesn’t do anything but her everyone involved. |
