to me, this is definitely about sexual abuse or rape. i have analyzed the lyrics very closely. "I'm so sick, Infected with where I live Let me live without this Empty bliss, Selfishness I'm so sick I'm so sick" she is saying that she probably feels like something is her fault, like has been manipulated, and she is pleading for this to stop "If you want more of this We can push out, sell out, die out So you'll shut up And stay sleeping With my screaming in your itching ears" this to me has something to do with her going crazy or going through trauma from what has happened. "You sink into my clothes And this invasion Makes me feel Worthless, hopeless, sick" the line "you sink into my clothes" explains it all. i don't think i need to elaborate. and how she used the word "invasion" is very powerful. then she explains how she feels from that. hopefully my point somewhat makes sense here! |
