Muse – Uprising Lyrics 2 years ago
@[factfreak:37684] Just to name a few: Healthcare, housing/rent, electricity, gas/oil, cable, higher ed, travel, search engines/apps/virtual tools, Banking incl. home ownership, loans, are privately owned and operated. Only things most people need to survive. I really wish peoples' analysis in the U.S. that the largest corporations don't have immense control in our daily lives, and over the policies that effect our daily lives, would be reexamined. You're out of your mind if you don't realize that the whole political game is geared toward politicians supporting the largest corporations, right and left.

Did you hear this one from Princeton? In reviewing over 1700 policy issues, they found: "Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence." Unless you think Princeton is too radical, the proof is in the pudding.
