This song has the ability to appeal to all demographics in my view. There is something in it for anyone and everyone. It doesn’t need to focus around teenage years the lyrics can appeal to anyone in any situation. Life takes a familiar route for most and in different stages of life we see things the same until one day, whatever your age, you evolve and realise you aren’t here forever. That’s when you finally understand life and this song reflect that. Or they did for me anyway. |

It's impossible to understand the lyrics of this unless you have been or are lonely. My wife left me and I went from being a busy family guy to sitting in a small house on my own. You spend so much time reflecting. I heard this on one of my playlists and couldn't stop listening to it.
