The Cure – Lullaby Lyrics 5 years ago
@[thesoftboys:27155] That's just in your subconscious. Smith was a heroin addict. That's what this song is about. You'd have to very dim not to see that.

God. I think that is the most pretentious thing I've ever read in my life. Honestly, no one wants to read about how you're mentally

Jane's Addiction – Jane Says Lyrics 6 years ago
Jane was a Latina prostitute, which is why her roommates didn't like her and wanted her "to go." Obviously, Sergio is her pimp. Also, the lyrics are always wrong for this song, as they are above. If you doubt me, find yourself a copy of the old cassette tape. They had the hand-written lyrics on the back of the foldout cover. First off, the first of the refrain is not nor has it ever been, "I'm gonna kick tomorrow..." It's "I'm gonna get tomorrow" it's "get" as in leave. Anyone who listens to the song should know this. Secondly, it is not nor has it ever been, "To the store at eight" that's just stupid. I want to punch something every time I see someone post it as that. It's written has "hate" by Farrell himself but it's in reference to Haight St., as in the famous Haight-Ashbury district in San Francisco, pronounced like "hate." The number "eight" makes no effing sense whatsoever and anyone who posts it as "eight' is a goddamn idiot.
