Hey man, you're head over heels, but "love" clouds your judgement. A heart a-flame in love causes smoke to get in your eyes and therefore not see things rationally. Ha, don't worry I know what I'm doing. Oops she left me. And now you're all saying "I told you so" and mocking me for crying. And my response is: I'm crying because it was such an intense love and now it's gone. I had the fire of love, which is now put out, and causing smoke to get in my eyes which is the cause of my tears. So, as the famous poem by Tennyson says: 'tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. |
