@[GNRLoves:18800] I think the part "But lovers always come and lovers always go An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today Walking away" From the way he phrases it, i think its just a general statement of how always people were and will come together and leave each other. I mean he describes that both loving someone and understanding a relationship will not work out, will always happen, he is just unsure who will take the first step in their relationship. I dont think he meant that the girl had many lovers before. Also the last part where the music darkens i think it all happens inside his head. He understands that it will be over but doesnt want to accept the break up and thinks to himself that everybody needs someone so he sticks to his old "trying to kill the pain". From what is shown on the videoclip, he finally took the decision. |
