You know you're right for pointing that out I think he was faced by choices he didn't want to make. Like getting a divorce and leaving his daughter behind. Like he was left by his dad. He wanted to stay loyal and loved. He didn't want to leave them. I'll bet his wife was like (leave us alone. Don't come near us. Dont follow us.) Because he was a drug addict and he was ruining his lil girls life. But he wouldn't be able to live with the thought of staying and getting sober because living was never his thing. Normal was never his thing. He needs extraordinary. Because he is terrified of sitting alone with his thoughts and getting to knw himself. Because he didn't love himself. Because no one ever loved him. Not the real him. Not the self destructive him. And he wrote this song to assure his wife that he won't do anymore harm to them. He's not killing himself because of the drugs. He's warm and calm inside as he decided this. He just wanted to be normal but couldn't bear the thought of being normal.. And once he realized not the band nirvana was not his way to the actual nirvana. He chose to move to the next life. Or the no life. Because no one commits suicide thinking about the afterlife and hell. He was just confused as fuk. |
