Initial reaction was to - your comment, but then again...if your dates are correct...and, if only it were true! that would have made the whole thing vastly more cryptic, and, probably, redeem it from my POV |

Having played in a number of ensembles I think these lyrics are a play on Baritone- baritone sax in particular. Written through the viewpoint of a keyboardplayer the narrative fits perfectly to the bari sax players lack of musical and fashion appeal. |
