Genesis – Ripples Lyrics 7 years ago
I remember...the young adult I had just become, upon the release of this album. I was heartbroken when I had heard Gabriel was leaving. I heard from a fan at "THE LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY" concert in Indianapolis. This would be my 4th time to see Genesis. Gabriel was so different from is earlier incarnations. He had become clean cut, he was Rael.

I was blown away by The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, and still believe it was their Magnum Opus. However, I was trilled by A Trick of the Tail, and knew that Genesis would continue. It is an incredible Genesis album that I still trill to listen to this day, and quite often. Wind and Wuthering, sealed the deal. Genesis lives! Incredibly, magnificently, prolifically! I had purchased all on original vinyl, and cherished that smell, the production, the complete package of album artwork and music within. But thanks to YouTube, I can have all that magic at a click of the mouse.

Genesis – All In A Mouse's Night Lyrics 7 years ago
The music is so complex, truly exquisite GENESIS at their peak...but what inane lyrics...compared to the mix seamlessly into Blood On The Rooftops, which musically hints at one of their epoch songs, Afterglow. However, lyrically, the dichotomy is perplexing.

I just imagine Phil Collins playing the the support, and singing, behind the complex key changes, and intricacies, musically, of All In A Mouses Night, and singing WTF lyrics.

Personally I like them (the lyrics)...I have been a GENESIS fanatic since the early, early days...my first GENESIS concert was 1977. FOXTROT. BUT...since this has always been one of my favorite GENESIS albums...maybe I need to go back and smoke some weed to make sense of All In A Mouses Night, lyrics, played to such incredible music.
