To me, this song always reminded me of a love song to the city that she lives in, which I assume is London. Her passion for it is evident, as she immerses herself in the sights and smells that is found in her beloved hometown at night. She literally carries all those wonderful aspects with her where ever she goes, just as the city does the same when people treck its streets for action--food, shopping, nightlife. |

@thisisfuckedup.na Props to being able to finally wake up. I can sympathize because I've been there too. It's not easy walking in a depressed persons shoes. My sister says that I was wired differently from everyone else in my family. But I am better for it because I no longer take life for granted.
BTW, this song is amazing. I'm not good at interpreting songs on a deeper level, but to me, daydreaming is what has kept me alive for so long. It allowed me to make it out of the dark tunnel that I was in. |

@[imbalance:17302] I'm going through a change in my life right now where I've finally appreciate who I am and am learning to love myself for the first time. This song really hits it home for me and I agree with you that the final verse evokes a lot of emotion. It's like it's asking me where I have been all this time. I'm just glad that I made it here. |
