@[Phlogistonist:30632] There's nothing wrong with finding your own interpretation of songs, in fact I think that's the point with most songs, but there's no need to be so sanctimonious about it. Some people on here act like they're special for finding hidden meanings that no one else thought of, and they present their interpretation as fact. At the end of the day, unless they got the information from Bowie himself, their interpretation is just a valid (or invalid) as everyone else's. |

Wow so many pretentious people on here! Your interpretation is exactly that, an interpretation. Unless you're Bowie himself you're not any more right than anyone else so please kindly get off your high horse and stop trying to act like you're so superior for finding a "deeper meaning" because let's face it you're probably wrong. If you have such a desperate need to feel superior go out on to the streets and show the homeless people the deeds to your house, that should make you feel good about yourself. |
