The Neighbourhood – Wires Lyrics | 7 years ago |
I think that this song is talking about some guy who is arrogant and very ambitious ,idealistic and power hungry. He can't reach his goals and he is becoming desperate. "If he said "Help me kill the president" <--- he is desperate... I’d say he needs medicine, <---- and actually going crazy Sick of screaming, let us in <---- he isn't letting his friend help him Wires got the best of him <--- wires might be political games All that he invested in, goes Straight to hell Straight to hell ^^--- he tried so hard to reach the top but in the end it was all pointless |

I think it's about why people are starting revolutions even though they know the consequences of them. |
Ed Sheeran – I See Fire Lyrics | 7 years ago |
"Oh, should my people fall Then surely I'll do the same Confined in mountain halls We got too close to the flame" This quote sums up dwarfs perfectly. Loyal, stubborn and brave but their downfall is always because of their greed. |
Skillet – Dead Inside Lyrics | 7 years ago |
I like how in line "You remind me of a time When I felt alive" ,alive is almost not hearable and then goes that powerful "Dead Inside". It's like a suggestion that feeling dead inside is stronger than memories of feeling alive. |
Innerpartysystem – American Trash Lyrics | 7 years ago |
I had a discussion if this song is offensive for Americans and that was my thoughts: This song is using a lot of bad stereotypes about USA but tbh I think "american trash" is a metaphore because anyone can be that trash if they don't think on their own and just believe everything that social medias or celebrities are saying. It's just because of these stereotypes about Americans "american trash" fits the best. |
