| @[MakeSense:10431] I love your description here, and agree with almost all of it...I think he's referring to his center and the light that shines on the broken here as Christ, however. The word Legion is what gives it away at the very end. Legion is a biblical description of demon possession when someone is possessed by many demons. Christ is the only one who sets people free from Legion, and Christ is referred to as the the Light of the World (physically represented as the sun). He's the Center of all things, everything revolves around Christ. In the biblical story of creation, God says, "Let there be light," and there was light.... That was the FIRST day. Then, on the FOURTH day, God created the sun to govern the day and the moon to govern the night. Symbolism here is that, to the Lord, a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. In chronology, Christ is created on the first day, but He does not come to earth until the fourth day, 4000 years after the creation. He is the human tangible representative of God on earth. The spiritual light that we can actually comprehend. He came to set us free from the darkness, the evil, the legion. Christ is the center here, and Maynard really gets that across beautifully here. | |
