I feel like this film is about Selma (Bjork's character in DANCER IN THE DARK) is essentially giving up on experiencing the little things that make life so beautiful. Her character suffers from an illness that is causing her to slowly go blind, and the lyrics of this song are a result of her fading eyesight |
