Great song. It's the song for the new(at the time) Bond film Spectre, and thus foreshadows the plot. I would go into a full in-depth breakdown, but it would spoil the movie. Though I will say this, the entire focus of the movie(and therefore the song) seems to be loss, and struggling to cope with it in the face of certain disaster. Great movie, great song. |

To me it feels like a person disgusted with the way religion has tainted so many. It seems almost like a correction of ways, a calling out of hypocrisy. How in the church you aren't allowed to think, you aren't allowed to speak of doubt. It's still a very religious song, but I feel it's more are less saying "can't you see how closed minded you have become? This isn't what god would have wanted." |
