Totally righteous. I love the sad background chorus. The music is really pumpin and always motivates me to do something but then the holes in my jeans remind me to grab my guitar and keep strumming. It somehow remains hopeful despite the obvious despair at life flying by so fast. The raspy resonance in Mikes voice is killer. |

Joni is so cool, just naturally flowing with the song. I like the live version she did with The Band on The Last Waltz. It has a real jazzy vibe to me and always puts me in a good mood. Trapped on the freeway going a buck ten in my hellcat. |

The greatest thing about music is that it is totally up for individual interpretation. Just because the songwriter had some specifics in mind doesn't mean everyone else will see it that way. However the person takes it makes it special and unique for them. Screw everyone else, scholars and "experts" included. This my initial (and possibly last) diatribe on this site. |
