I find amnesiac to be a very paranoid and creepy album nonetheless, very good as with all radiohead albums. Anyway definitely believe the divorce theory. I dare someone to listen to the whole album in the dark alone it literally makes you look over your shoulder music this powerful is very rare and a gift and should be cherished they get their point across very well. This however is very paranoid then very peaceful hence he's being released |

I think most of genesis' early albums had a certain theme running through them but not exactly being a concept album(except the lamb). Just like aqualung from

A trick of the tail and wind and wuthering are IMO theist two great genesis albums without hackett they just got too poppie for a band of their standards. Losing gabriel was bad but steve hackett????!! Anyway I think this song is about this person who is having persistent thoughts of being something more then they are... Being "entangled" with their dreams. The protagonist is telling them to just sleep and relax he/we'll help you. |

'the "i know shes living there " stanza kills me...... this song is about regret and confusion with the love he had... neil is cortez. I love how he is sort of optimistic/i denial when he says and she loves me till this day very heartbreaking.... then the confusion and regret sets in when he says he doesnt know how he lost his way neils best song along with cowgirl in the sand for me those 2 songs are the rawest songs man has ever created musically |

I love how neil can contradict himself in a good way in a song. How he says it feels so wrong, than says it feels so good. The state im in atm i can totally relate to this. You question yourself a lot in or after a relationship ends. It feels wrong in your heart but your head says naw its right. so many doubts and stuff. amazing how he convey such a message in a couple words. Ive always thought the zuma album was quite depressing, people mention on the beach tonights the night etc. Zuma does it for me betrayal, heartbreak, wanting to be loved . VERY OVERLOOKED album. |
