| matthew murphy (lead singer or the wombats) took anti depressants for a while, and being 'addicted to the cure' could mean that he is addicted to this fake happiness he is receiving. the anti depressants are helping him but it's a fake happiness, he can't stop taking them because it makes him happy, yet it is damaging him in the long term. this is probably me doing too much research but I see a connection idk | |
