Thirteen Senses – Into The Fire Lyrics 9 years ago
ok first, its a great song and by definition it doesn't have to mean anything, but i think the artists are saying something quite profound about life and ultimately death. The song itself gives some clues and I will try to go through some of them the video also is telling. The words are a bit non descriptive but I think the artists are relating to a suicide attempt or a final end of life experience. I wont bore you with details word by word some on this site have already tried to go through word by word of the song but for my money turn and meet the power does relate to facing ones maker, the artists have cleverly in my opinion, designed the guitar rift to sound extremely like an ambulance or siren of some kind. it adds to the power of the song and gives away the ultimate meaning i think. the line turning white and senses dying, is of course referring directly to an end of life scenario perhaps describing the feelings just before death. swinging wildly from one extreme to another and they go on to describe extremes in terms of life, mountain to the air, Samaritan to sin etc. its a dark song but full of life too. very cleverly done I cant help but feel that they may have known someone who took their own life or at least tried to and related the story to them. and of course the end of the song, lights are dim refers to the transition looking down/ from above no doubt the act or process now over in death. its a fab song addictive really particularly because of the guitar rift reminding one of emergency or ambulance its remarkable song well done to 13 senses. someday they may give us their true meaning / regardless its an amazing song full of life in its entirety
