I always thought that in some situations he is the Alpha, a.k.a. the leader, the important person (or something like that), and in other situations he is the omega, a.k.a. the loner (not really, but I hope you get the point), the shy one. @[Nuptunutation:9751] Amazingly well said. Loved the part where you (sort of) explained the meaning of Dasehra. This song really captures what I love about The Mars Volta. It's so chaotic, but the transitions are so very well done. I practically know no one else in my personal surroundings that know The Mars Volta, but boy would I love to share the experience I get of this music with my loved ones! |

@[ishtiaqahmedz:3445] I agree that it is about Syd, but I think, for example, the line "you reached for the secret too soon" refers to his drug addiction, which is also the reason that his behaviour changed so much over the years, and why he was kicked out of the band. |
