I think it probably means something like this (although it might mean nothing to u,so all apologies) I think its about this one person who has obsessed over a celebrity,something more than just a crush or whatever but a huge affanity and something like a cult following So this person sees their celebrity idol's decaying status of any kind (moral and social) and can do nothing about it (not that they want to though) and they are there waiting for their love to be theirs so everything can be fine,its like saying "Now that you have lost everything and nobody cares about you,you can be all mine my love,and i wouldnt let you die,no i wont!" It has in my opinion a cruel meaning to it (hidden behind a great song though) but if you look closer you would see that most of us,have the same degree of obsession towards some certain famous people,we rather them broke and pathetic but in our arms than have them famous and loved by others and far far away,its the truth! |

This song made me cry It reminds me of girl interrupted I dont know why it just does, i remember there was a girl called Plly and she had torched herself because they put down her puppy or something And Susanna, the girl watching this... I think these lyrics could also have been said from her point if view Also if Richey wrote these when he was in the hospital then it explains everything because he must have seen so much pain and beauty there, beauty that was yet considered blank, and morbid. Because they changed it... There must have been other self harmers and anorexics there, that must have haunted him as this song haunts us Oh my god this album is just perfect |
