The Front Bottoms – Twin Sized Mattress Lyrics 8 years ago
This song is about *everything*. The friends he has made, the horrible people he has met, a certain friend who has hit rock bottom (the chorus and first verse), the regrets, anxiety, and his failed love life. It's spectacular and the highlight of The Front Bottom's exceptional catalog.

Neutral Milk Hotel – Holland, 1945 Lyrics 9 years ago
I happen to think the "buried alive" line is something very different. I think this refers to her dying prematurely, with so much life ahead of her. This song is a tour de force, and immortal.

Radiohead – Myxomatosis. (Judge, Jury, & Executioner.) Lyrics 10 years ago
I think this song has a very straightforward meaning to it. You have to know the background of Myxomatosis first. It is a HUMAN created disease. So the entire song is basically a metaphor for the control on society and what it limits. Just like Myxomatosis limited the rabbit population, but was created by humans. Yorke feels there is a figurative control on society created by us, which much like Myxomatosis can be dangerous.

Radiohead – Paranoid Android Lyrics 10 years ago
This song is about our awful artificial society. The people Thom has seen and is disgusted by. An attack on the selfish, privileged, spoiled, superficial people of the world. Incredible instrumentals is only upped by the greatest song-writing in existence. Ending with the haunting and sarcastic lines "God loves his children, God loves his children yeah..." I have yet to encounter a greater, more epic song. This is the best song ever made, and essentially anyone who has heard it seems to agree.

Radiohead – Fake Plastic Trees Lyrics 10 years ago
This song is absolutely beautiful. I believe it is about the struggles of a weak girl, a weak man, and then Thom, in a fragile state of being. The amount of emotion in this song is enormous. Thom collapsed on the floor after performing this in the studio, the lead singer of one of the most depressing bands of all time. When the song reaches the third verse and the instrumentals explode it sends chills down my entire body. No other song can do that. A song of towering emotion, you can feel the sadness of Thom. Fake Plastic Trees is probably my favorite song of all time.
