blondweezl’s interpretation is exactly what I got out of it. There is the cold, old, dead life before ran by the Ego which has died for the new Higher Self life guided by the Self (her-self) Higher Self of which coming as she is and surrendering to is her only option and possibility at this point in her road. She asks the question, “Are you an Angel?” Who is she talking or referring to? There is only Her-Self in the lyrics and video. Her Angel, Her Higher Self is her Savior guiding her as she is both dead to her lower ego self and at the same time alive but egoless meaning having nothing really to offer since everything tangible is ego based in some way. She has nothing to offer or give and surrender and be actively passive to this Higher Angelic state of Selfhood is all she can do. |
