Most of the lyrics on this song are freestyle, so they won't make complete sense, but I'm pretty sure this song is about each of their experiences as a popular musician. Damon Albarn was notoriously egotistical when he started off as a musician, and many of the people that worked with him back then have commented on it. James Murphy has talked about his social anxiety and how his fear of failure kept him from making music in his early days, so his lyrics have to do with uncertainty. Andre 3000 talks about wishing to be "normal people" and he has done plenty of stunts wearing odd clothing and making odd music. Also his lyrics seem to be about some of the criticism he's faced. |

I realized similarities can be found in the first verse relating to Simba trying to escape his past, and the second verse can be related to Scar making Simba believe he killed Mufasa.
