I think this song is about a man who has it all. A Wife, Kids, a Good Paying job that he enjoys and whatthefucknot. Then he wastes his life with drugs and alcohol and prostitution etc. (Fill in the blank). He loses everything and "Got lost in Heaven". Don't go OVER THE EDGE. This man did. |

I think this song is about how the modern entertainment industry tries its best to appeal to kids for money. On average a kid gets $270 each year out of just allowance, and there's a lot of kids out there. "Taking Over, it won't be long". This could mean it isn't long before everything just tries to appeal to kids. This is also supported by the fact the Gorillaz are animated. And kids really like cartoons. |
