No. actually, that is NOT the reason why Muslims don't believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God. The real reason is that in Islam, God is above everything because everything besides Him is His creation, and He is the master, creator and sustainer and nothing and no one is like Him in any way, shape or form. { There is nothing whatever like unto Him} Surah Ash-shura verse no.11 {Say: He is Allah, the One and Only Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not nor is He begotten.
