goodness me, as with every other religious nut I have ever met you always try to steer everything toward your religion because you have nothing else in your life. Pink Floyd were of the belief that religion was a bad thing and the cause of most conflict and evil doing. (which it is). This song is about rising above the bullshit that surrounds us all (in the songs context a stereotypical judge and the peasants just following blindly) and be yourself, do your own thing and fuck what everybody else thinks. Pink Floyd were far to intelligent to be refering to the bible which is terrible story book written by monks trying to control the masses a few thousand years ago. Pink Floys were above all that rubbish as the song says. |
