'regiiiiiiinnnaaaa regiiiiiinnnaaaa WHAT when is that song gonna start' I seriously love this song. Regina is obviously an acquired taste, and the first thing you think when you listen to this woman's music is 'what the hell is she on?' However, after a while it begins to change to 'where the hell can I get some?' For me, at least. The crashing guitar and drums are a nice contrast to her usually airy and flutish voice. The prelude, as always, is adorable (Bear Spektor > life), and her lyrics are cute as well (pizzatarian, a lifestyle I'd like to try sometime.) | This song is so amazing. First, am I the only one who interprets the line: When you're going in for the kill kill / For the kill-er-kiss kiss for the kiss kiss? Almost as if Regina is so spiteful towards her ex-husband's new relationship that she says 'kill' instead of 'kiss' and then catches herself, throwing an 'er' in there that also sounds like killer kiss... pure genius. I also love how she almost shouts the word 'out' like she wants her ex to get out of her head, and how desperate and mocking she sounds while singing 'and I need your love.' This probably makes no sense ;w; oh well, i tried :3 | |

| For some reason, whenever I listen to this beautiful song, I imagine a teacher struggling with heartbreak and a broken relationship. As she teaches her students their lessons (page forty-two in their textbooks and whatnot) her personal life seeps in, unbidden. Hence love-ology, I'm sorry-ology, forgive me-ology, kiss-ology... In a way, she's telling her own story to the students. At times she remembers herself and the ologies are punctuated by her returning to the class itself. Just my interpretation :) | |
