| To me, the lyrics tell about someone who believed that he knew himself, his qualities, his passion, and the way he could live his life, but never found a way to really live all these. Now he has been fighting too long in vain to survive in a world where he doesn't feel accepted for who he is and what he can mean to the world. And he lays his plaint before Life/God: if you wanted me to be who I am and to do something with the gifts I got, and nothing worked, what am I gonna do now? I miss the days that I could dream aloud and felt my life was still lying before me, but as I grow older, I'm wondering, what's really in it for me? What's really my life about? | |
