This song is about my situation. I lost my virginity to this girl and she lost hers to mine. We were together for 4 years. I broke up with her and moved away. I am lonely and need a woman. She still texts and clings too me. I miss her, but I do not love her. I love a woman who is taken. And until I find someone new or the woman with a boyfriend dumps him, I will not know what to do. lol. But I know this I dumped this chick before I fell in love with this other chick. |

I feel this song is about my situation right now. I am in love with a woman who has a boyfriend and I am trying to get over my ex, who i broke up with. My ex still wants me, but I do not want her. Since the woman I want has a boyfriend, I feel I need my ex to take my mind off of her. The line where he says "Can you help me find a way, to carry on again?" Is him singing to this new woman he has found. The woman I want hardly talks to her boy friend. Since I am a guy I feel I need sex and love. Only this woman can give it to him. He is heart broken and confused at the same time. He wants to get over his ex. But it will not be until this other woman realizes that she needs him and needs to dump her boy friend. Then she will understand. I know this might sound crazy, but it is how I feel. Some of the lyrics that are misinterpreted by others seem like he is in denial of the whole situation. |
