This was my last relationships "song". Alright, that may bestupid and pathetic, but we had one. The pain and hurt that the last year of it brought left me in tears too many nights wondering why love wouldn't rescue me. The last verse never was too important to me, but now it is my mantra. The pain is in my past, and I enter tomorrow without that. |

I think that this comment page is a tribute to Saves teh day's success. True success always brings controversy. I find it ironic that people stand by their music as the best thing on earth until other people agree with it. All bands deal with being called sell outs and the old school fans hate the new breed. Well, I raise my glass in a toast to Chris, David, Ted, Eben and Bryan. You are successful because people are pissed that others are listening.

THis song is about the story portrayed in Bible--Luke 8:22-25. It is the story of Jesus calming the storm while he and his disciples are in a boat at sea. Jesus is often called Rabbi or teacher. HE is considered the greatest of teachers. He fell asleep while they were at sea and a storm came along. Initially this can be seen as Jesus not hesitating to leave his followers in peril. Yet above all, Jesus love pales all other loves. Fear was not the end of the situation. Rather he awoke, rebuked his followers for their lack of faith and calmed the storm, saving their lives. The riddles are the prophesies Jesus fufilled from the Jewish tradition and the parables he spoke in. FOr the disciples, they had turned from the world and there was no turning back. Now only teh ultimate love, Jesus could save them. And he did.
