| Yellow is the color of many things. Light, flowers, the sun and other stars, it represents happiness as well a illness in some cases. Yellow is a color that can mean many things and have many emotions. However, it is a primary color, therefore, one of the simplest colors. Just as true unconditionally love. It is unpredicatble and raw. It's simple yet profound. It's also infinite like the possibilities of yellow when it comes to what it can mean or what other colors you can make when you mix it. Yellow also comes in many shades and intensities just as love does. When you love someone you would "bleed [yourself] dry for them" and "[their] skin and bones turn into somethng beautiful" to you. I think she is growing up and getting hurt by things and learning that there is no such thing as perfect. I think the person singing the song is in love with the girl and knows he can't prevent her from getting hurt or protect her from the darkness that is in the world but he wants to comfort her and be what does make her happy and doesn't hurt her. |

| "And we kissed as thought nothing could fall". Probably the most beautiful line I've ever heard. There is so much true emotion to this song. I sometimes think about young people who love each other and realize how screwed up and sad the world is sometimes and how nothing truly ever lasts and that things don't work out. Regardless they still want to be together and be each other's reality. | |

| I have a friend who has had problems with hurting themselves. Whenever I listen to this song I think about him because I have been there for him and been there for him regardless of if he thinks he needs me or not. People who hurt themselves or are depressed sometimes feel like they have no hope or they get angry when someone talks about it, at the same time however, they may want someone to know and care and be there for them. its a thing that they have a love hate relationship with. It feels good for a while, yet it scares them that it is happening. Anyways back to where I was originally intending to go with this, this song to me is speaking about someone who loves someone even though they don't love themselves and therefore, can't show love back. This song is unconditionally loving someone whether they always want you or not, whether they are always happy or not, whether or not they belief you really love them. It saying that you will be there for that person till the end. For better or for worse. | |
