Simon and Garfunkel – Scarborough Fair/Canticle Lyrics 11 years ago
This is a song about war, and love, and remembrance. It is a very sad and beautiful song. It demonstrates that the pain of war can be felt at home and abroad. I like to believe the main line "Are you going to Scarborough Fair" is a conversation being held at a crossroad between our world and the world beyond. The soldier who has died can't seem to find his way home and desperately tries to send word to the woman he loves in Scarborough to tell her to prepare for his return. But, he is in a sort of limbo to walk the earth and to never find his way, while she has to learn to live without her one true love.

VAST – Touched Lyrics 11 years ago
The roses I would think don't have anything to do with Valentines or any other special day so much as they are a symbol of the pain of love that the singer feels. No matter how distant the two get or rotten and old the relationship gets hes still going to hold on to the memory of it. Hold on to the memory and any physical thing he may have to remind him of what hes lost.

No Doubt – Sunday Morning Lyrics 11 years ago
One part of the song I really like is the imagery in the chorus, "You came in with the breeze". I believe this to be telling the listener that the guy in the situation no longer carries himself the same way. He is now an emotionally broken boy who's come back with his tail tucked between his legs and his head hung low trying to win her back. So, what I'm saying is he's an empty shell of a man, an empty shell with no weight to it so that it can float in "with the breeze".
