As always Bernie delivers great lyrics filled with imagery, and once again I am blown away by Elton's ability to understand and convey them through the music. yeah, I love this song so much, and when you go to a show you should definately be prepared to get peoples' names/number/screen names, cause you will meet some cool people for sure. I love it when you are friends for someone with a few hours or so, but it feels like you are best friends. Youth is a great thing, and you gotta hang on to it as long as you can. |

Has anyone seen the movie SLC Punk? It explains why Anarchy wouldn't work...but I'm not here bash on anarchy, cause if you believe in Anarchy, that's fine with me, I may not agree with it completely, but it is a hell of a lot better than just letting the system walk all over you. I think this song is just about someone dressing up punk and getting into the scene for all the wrong reasons, like fashion and image and everything, and this song is just saying that dressing up punk doesn't make you "punk" it is all about how you live your life and what you believe. |

Yeah, it definately has some hardcore in there, I think it is pretty much obvious it is about people who criticize people to make themselves feel better. The feeling of this song reminds me a lot of the Filth cover AFI did on SYMAOYE, Today's Lesson. They are both a little more hardcore than most of AFI's other stuff, and they have a similar theme.
