I compleatly agree with the comment below me about it being an anit-abortion song. It's metallica's second abortion song, harvister of sorrow being the first.

I think the unborn baby is refering to his/her mother as death and is asking her to keep him alive. I would also agree that it is quite a disterbing song. |
