Panic! at the Disco – Bittersweet Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I try to listen to the songs off of Vices & Virtues with an unbiased perspective, but a huge part of me can't help but to think half of the songs are about Ryan. To me, this sounds like Brendon is talking about the split and how he and Ryan don't talk much anymore and how Brendon might be coming off as hostile in the interviews when all he really is doing is not watching what he says. Also, "I'm slurring on purpose and it's certainly worth it" makes me think he's talking about a specific line in Hurricane. The lyrics are printed "Oh I confess, I confess to the room where I'm blessed" but it sounds like he's saying "Oh I confess, I confess to the rumor of us" and maybe Brendon slurs that line on purpose. |

Am I the only one who finds it really awkward that Z Berg sings on the gang vocals of this song when Ryan wrote it for Keltie? |
The Like – I Can See It in Your Eyes Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Well given the circumstances, this song is obviously about Ryan and Keltie. Ryan was cheating on Keltie with Z. Z knew it and she obviously just wants him to choose her already. |
Sucre – Chemical Reaction Lyrics | 12 years ago |
This was such an unexpected gem from the album! Anyways, the song is obviously about being in love with someone and er, doing things that you do when you love someone. It's really hard for me to come to terms with this because I cannot even begin to see any of the DuPree siblings in that light, but she is married, after all. |
Sucre – Troubled Waters Lyrics | 12 years ago |
That would make sense 'cause the band she is in with her family, Eisley, has a song called Come Clean and it's about someone they know/knew who was on drugs but refused to admit it. Maybe this song is a sort of continuation to that one? |

yeah I couldn't understand half of what she was saying but I think I fixed it? My cd should arrive soon so I'll know for sure in the next couple of days |
Sucre – Hiding Out Lyrics | 12 years ago |
She keeps repeating "money is pain" and then the lines "I take it too hard You don't even mean it I'm dying for your love You take it too hard When I don't even feel it 'Cause you're paying for my love" make me feel as if she's talking about someone is paying her to give them her "love" idk if this is a far-fetched idea, but that's what I get from the song. anyways, this is one of my favorite songs off of the album. I love the string arrangements and her vocals are just stunning. |
