if you have been following the theme of Post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear winter this song makes perfect sense. the soldiers want revenge for starting this war! "silently marching, our quest for revenge" obviously they want revenge! "lost in the forgotten tragedy" the nuclear winter. "scars of the past still alive in our veins" memories of who was killed and the tragedy that took place. "onwards we fight to our destiny" them marching on to either die or win! "trample their forces we now over run" them outnumbering the enemy army. "Sign of the power inside of us" remembering what they are fighting for. "Cities in ruins and lives destroyed" lives and cities destroyed the nuclear holocaust. "stand at the edge of the universe" no turning back. "Suffering fills the open sky Battering down the pain inside Memories hide the moonlight sky Till the end of our days" this whole verse describes the clouds of a nuclear winter. |

following the theme of a post-apocalyptic world i would say this is a story of how soldiers use to follow the orders of an evil general/commander, but after regretting those days they turn around and fight the evil. "Time after time, as we march side by side Through the valleys of evil and the torturing souls Night after night, for the glory we fight In the kingdom of madness and the tales from the old" the soldiers standing strong together following orders in a time of chaos fighting for "glory". "Death by our hands, for the higher command As the darkness surrounds us in the quiet as they fall Fire burning steel, and the tyrants will kneel Hearts burning stronger with the power of the sword" This describes the soldiers learning their evil and then turning on their leader and then fighting for good. "Cry thunder Sword in his hand Titans of justice, fearless we stand Cry thunder Strong in command Savior of nations, freedom of man Cry thunder Sword in his hand Warriors defending, one final stand Cry thunder Strong in command Blessed by the union, freedom of man" the first verse describes the warriors gaining revenge on their past leaders who have used them. the second verse describes them defending what they believe in and fighting for humanity. |

in my opinion this song sounds like it takes place in a world right before a nuclear winter or even during it. "For a lifetime we fight without reason, Still we wait for the warriors return Though we're cast out and broken, we still carry on Alone in a lost fallen world Woah yeah!" this part sounds like they are fighting for no reason except hoping for a better tomorrow "Flames burning higher, Curse of the winter land, Black, torn, and twisted In the fast-fading twilight" this part is describing the nuclear bomb and how it changed the land to a black, torn, and twisted winter land with dark clouds "fast-fading twilight" "Storm winds still blowing Steel shapes our destiny, Death calls at night fall Our curse with be lifted" This part describes them doing whatever it takes to stay alive. "Steel shapes our destiny" could mean those with weapons will survive. "death calls at night fall" could mean night time is a very dangerous time but if they survive long enough they will not suffer as badly. |

too me this song is about a boy/group who is bullied in school, tormented by everyone laughing at him/them for not being able to do something. he/they tries and tries too fight back but each time he/they fails. to me this song seems like an epic quest too fight a great evil coming too his land. he and his party must go to find "the Sword" which will maybe summon god? "Crossing battles savage seas towards the mountains high Forest plains of wilderness we're striking out tonight On towards our destiny we travel far and wide Journey through the darkenss as your hearts refuse to die" describes how the party travels through the sea and wilderness while fighting enemies and refusing too give up because they know if they fail the "Evil" will kill them all. "In the flames of hell we fire at will the fires of doom has come With the forces of the blackest knights they're staring at the sun Far across the distant plains of ice we're searching for the sword When the time has come for the battle now we follow with the horde" This part tells us that they are searching far and wide for the sword for the army. when they find the sword they will fight the army of darkness (Forces of the blackest Knights) "Fallen soldiers taste the steel of death the daylight dawning Sun will shine upon the lives of burning hearts of ice As you break through the boundaries of life this feeling of despair And they die in their sleep for the world that will not care You feel lost in this labyrinth of pain this sickening dismay There's a voice inside that's calling another wasted day" this may be describing the army fighting off the army of darkness with every last breath they have. "Can't you see the history the suffocating madness In the land of fallen souls there's nowhere left no place to go I have traveled far and wide across the wasteland Still searching for the answers for the right to understand" The party or main guy discovering where the sword is from historical clues?
