From what I understand, he chemically "transcended conventional thought." 4four2twenty0, I agree with you wholeheartedly though. Very sad. |

There's a reason it's called "behavioral medicine." All it does is slow you down physically, physiologically, and in turn, mentally. I guess the idea might be that if you slow down their brain enough, they might be able to come to grips with it and be able to catch yourself a little before you say or do something "insane." By the way, the word insane is not a medical term, it's a legal term. Someone who is insane has perpetrated a crime of some sort, while someone who is just mentally ill may not have. |

I'm guessing that you are just making a reference to the line in the song. In actuality, the same side of the moon is always facing the sun, so, yes, there is a dark side of the moon. Just FYI. |

I like your interpretation, though I must say that I would interpret it a little bit further. "The lunatic is in my head The lunatic is in my head you raise the blade, you make the change you rearrange me ' till I'm sane you lock the door and throw away the key there's someone in my head but it's not me" I agree that the "you raise the blade/ you make the change/ you rearrange me 'til I'm sane" probably refers to a lobotomy. "you lock the door/ and throw away the key/ there's someone in my head, but it's not me" is referring to being institutionalized indefinitely and the "there's someone in my head but it's not me" probably makes reference to how when medically treated (as far as psychiatrically) the patient tends to feel like they are someone else and they are no longer themselves. |
