| I don´t agree with you on the last line. He truly believes he, at the very least, had an excuse to commit this crime, as confirmed by the "of which I am nearly wholly innocent, you know". Also, there is no mention of him feeling guilty in the lyrics. No, I firmly believe the lie he is talking about is when he keeps saying he´s not afraid to die. | |
