as a heroin/methadone addict, have to say i agree. that was my first intuitive impression during listen Coeur de Pirate cover of this song. we all have all kinds of holes (scars) and different ways to fill it. lots of that ways aren't constructive or healthy, some of them can make worse psychological damage then heroin. being an addict is like you're already dead. the hole you've wanted to fix soon becomes enormous emptiness and there's no dope that can fix it. |
