I wonder what I'd have done without modest mouse. I dont tell about them to my friends because they are all into the sort of music that makes you jump around for the night and then just nothing. I just hope this whole 'mainstream' shit doesnt kill off real music or dare i say, poetry, like MM. My test of good music is that whether you'd want to listen to it, say at something like 4am instead of just pull up and sleep. Only few pass it. MM being one of them. "I didnt wana go to bed and I didnt wanna stay awake" I sometimes feel that. But never felt it'd make for such a powerful line. |

| Agree. I'm kind of depressed right now and this is the song i'm listening to. I can completely relate to how monotonous the "normal" life feels all of a sudden. And I'm in love with the phrases "I dont feel at all like I fall", "And we're losing all touch building a desert" Thats how this feels like. I normally dont comment on songs, but this is one of those few songs (like Radiohead's Motion picture soundtrack and Death cab's Line of best fit) that I simply feel like listening on forever. If they let me play a song at my funeral, then this is one of them. peace. | |

think that line is " we all got wood and nails, turned out of hate factories" Just what i hear. peace. And yeah, this is a painfully beautiful song. Though i'm not a christian and neither do i believe in afterlife, this is exactly what i feel sometimes. beautiful. just beautiful. |
