To me she is saying that when the bad things are happening in life, in that moment we are scared, or crushed, or hopeless, but in the happy moments in life, we laugh and appreciate the meaning that the bad things give us in our lives. All of these experiences are part of the human experience. They are the point of life, and give life meaning. So by experiencing these feelings and situations that make up our lives, we are laughing with god by enjoying our lives. The great point of life is to live it and enjoy it for what it is. We have no way to know what lies beyond this life, if anything, so the only logical thing to do with this life is to live it and enjoy it. When things happen, good or bad, the best thing to do is enjoy the beauty of the human experience that is happening. Live your life fully and be happy, because there's no reason not to be. |
