Jeff Buckley – Lover, You Should've Come Over Lyrics 12 years ago
This song is full of longing and regret. It’s about losing someone because of foolish mistakes you’ve made, and when all is said and done, still loving that one person. It’s the loneliness one feels now that that person is gone... wanting them, yearning for them... not being able to sleep because you can’t stop thinking about him/her. “Lover, you should’ve come over” is his way of telling her that he’ll be waiting.

Peter Broderick – Not At Home Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this song is about being with someone, but no longer being in-love with that person.
"I have no instruments, I'm using yours" - This is about being so drained and having no energy left in yourself to fight for the relationship. You're basically using up the energy that your partner has left.
"and when I'm home, I'm not at home" - This is talking about how you can be with that person and be in the same room with them, but feeling completely detached like you're not even there. Your mind and your heart are a million miles away.

Jeremy Messersmith – Love You to Pieces Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this song is about a relationship gone wrong. Perhaps he was too possessive ("But I held too tight and it broke and it shattered"), which drove her away. It's about him realizing his mistakes and wanting her back to finally give her his all without holding back.

Jeremy Messersmith – A Girl, A Boy, and a Graveyard Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this song is talking about the hardships in a relationship. The words "stone", "cold", "guts", "steel" and "concrete" are the physical representations of how the relationship has become emotionless and stale. But instead of giving up, they decide to stick together, which proves that their love is real. This song is about how true love isn't about lust or passion... it's a choice. Love is the choice you make even when all the excitement and euphoria are gone. It's when you realize that you only want to be with this one person, no matter how hard things get.

Daughter – Landfill Lyrics 12 years ago
For me this song is about loving someone, but being treated like crap by that person. She's basically telling that person that no matter how badly he/she treats her, she'll still want him/her and she hates that. Everyone can relate to this I think... the torture of loving someone that's not good for you, but you just can't help but want that person. It leaves a person helpless and I think this song captures that emotion beautifully.
