Daughter – Medicine Lyrics | 12 years ago |
Er... I believe these are the correct lyrics: Pick it up, pick it all up. And start again. You've got a second chance, You could go home. Escape it all. It's just irrelevant. It's just medicine. It's just medicine. You could still be, What you want to, What you said you were When I met you. You've got a warm heart, You've got a beautiful brain, But it's disintegrating From all the medicine. From all the medicine. From all the medicine. Medicine. You could still be, What you want to be, What you said you were, When you met me. You could still be, What you want to, What you said you were, When I met you, When you met me, When I met you. Ooh, ooh, ooh... Medicine, ooh, ahh.. |
Daughter – Love Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I can't forget it, Though I've tried I know you'll regret, love You told me so many times But, I still wonder Why... You left with her & left me behind Take your hands off him Cause he's the only one that I have ever loved Please don't find her skin When you turn the lights out I can't erase it From my mind I just replay it, love I think of all of the time But I don't want to imagine Words you spoke to her that night Make your bodies look like porcelain You both knew I'd be bleeding inside Did she make your heart beat faster than I could? Did she give you what you hoped for? On nights so loveless, love, I hope it made you feel good Knowing how much I adored you Did she make your heart beat faster than I could? Did she give you what you hoped for? On nights so loveless, love, I hope it made you feel good Knowing how much I adored you (You're making me sick, love) |

I agree; I have a similar situation and this this song soothes a lot of pain and thoughts of "what if". Its always best to let go and move on. |
Bright Eyes – Lua Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I agree with noti, the song means something to each person who interprets it. With these lines I feel like it is connecting with anyone with an addiction, or an obsession, or any type of unhealthy, broken behaviour. She could be going to the bathroom to do drugs, maybe she's bulimic, maybe she's going to cry or hurt herself, maybe she obsesses with the way she looks, maybe she goes to be alone. We all see ourselves in this girl and the narrator isn't necessarily stating he has the same problem as her; just he sees she's broken and she's "got it bad" |
