First time I heard this song I thought of my dream-stealing father... He lived his life through mine while I was growing up. What was I left with at 18??? Just one example of bad parenting, The thing is... bad parenting can impact your life forever. I've read that Shaun/Seether said they do not share the meanings of their music with the public (except for one song "Rise Above This) and they would like others find their place within the song...
