plus some pretty ridiculous comments about beatles songs being too "beatlesque." If i understand correctly, you're implying that the addition of electric guitars, bass, drums, and harmonies ruins the song by making it "stuck in a two-dimensional beatlesque box of pop garbage"?? |

i agree with this, although if you take this interpretation then the third verse "will you be true till life is done" sounds kinda off, kinda creepy asking a child to "be true to you" that's more like something you would ask of a partner not of your child. who knows wtf he was thinking of when he wrote this! |
